Are you sure, sweetheart, that you want to be well?… Just so’s you’re sure, sweetheart, and ready to be healed, cause wholeness is no trifling matter.

Holistic Therapy with Biany

In this space, we welcome all your parts, help you connect on a soul level, access your inner wisdom and reclaim your magic.

My Holistic Approach

I see my role as therapist as a collaborative one. I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential to the process of wellness and improving one's life. It is through this unique alliance, between therapist and client(s), that people can enhance their lives by gaining a better awareness and understanding of themselves. At times, we may look at how the past informs the present and how one can move forward despite past experiences. A part of my style, is to focus on the here and now, being aware of what unfolds. I am committed to holding space for you while encouraging you to say the “unsayable,” bring to your awareness what's been held in the unconscious, and to help you learn how to honor your truth(s). I strive to create the kind of space where curiosity, creativity, connection, and exploration are encouraged. This process is collaborative, compassionate and deeply nonjudgmental.

My eclectic work draws from mindfulness-based approaches, parts work, somatic therapy, Gestalt therapy, energy psychology, Acceptance & Commitment Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EFT-Tapping Techniques, Psychodynamic therapy and intuitive wisdom and intelligence. I am also a trained Intuitive Reiki Master practitioner, Tarot Reader and Breathwork facilitator. I strive to utilize these diverse approaches from an intersectional lens and a practice that comes from a culturally affirming, spiritually minded, decolonizing and queer Black feminist perspective. I am trauma-informed and work relationally with clients and use these varied modalities and techniques when appropriate and with active consent. I welcome and encourage you to bring your culture, traditions, rituals, spiritual practices, and/or ancestral wisdom into our work together and into your healing process.

Healing Generational Cycles

Using the wisdom from our indigenous ancestors. It is said that we heal 7 generations before and 7 generations of those coming after us. Doing the inner work not only benefits you but those who are part of your lineage (this does not solely refer to those you are genetically linked to). Your courage to begin this journey of healing will have a great impact on all of those part of your community and lineage. It can feel overwhelming to hold this truth as you begin or continue your journey to healing but please know that the work you are doing is not an individual endeavor but a collective practice and process.

The 4 Cs: Creativity, Curiosity, Connection & Compassion

As an intuitive brujx/witchy therapist and holistic healer who is informed by their lived experience, ancestral connections, queer black feminist lens and spiritual practices, I center the 4Cs in my approach to therapy. I believe these are foundational tools that are needed to ride this transformative healing journey. This healing centered space will center creativity, curiosity, connection and compassion. These tools are the components that are needed for your journey. These are tools that you already have within you. My role as your guide, space holder, and support is to remind you of accessing these resources as we journey together.
